Definitions

Publisher: Legal entity or a natural person responsible for the publication of on-line public communication services.

Site: All websites, web pages and on-line services offered by the Publisher. User: Person using the Site and the services.

1- Nature of the data collected

The Publisher may collect the following categories of data about its Users, during navigation on the Sites:

  • Civil status data, identity data, identification data, etc.
  • Data on professional career (resume, education, professional training, awards, etc.)

2- Communication of personal data to third parties

No communication to third parties.

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. However, you are informed that it may be disclosed pursuant to a law, regulation or decision of a competent regulatory or judicial authority.

3- Prior information for the communication of personal data to third parties in the event of a merger/acquisition

Prior information and opt-out possibility before and after the merger/acquisition. In the event of a merger, acquisition or other form of asset transfer, we are committed to ensuring the confidentiality of your personal data and to informing you before your personal data is transferred or subjected to new privacy rules.

4- Data aggregation

Aggregation with non-personal data.

We may publish, disclose and use aggregate Information (information about all of our Users or specific groups or categories of Users that we combine so that an individual User cannot be identified or referred to) and non-personal information for industry and market analyses, demographic profiling, promotional and advertising purposes, and other business purposes.

Aggregation with personal data available on the User’s social accounts.

If you connect your account to another service’s account for the purpose of cross-mailing, that service may share your profile information, login information, and any other information you have authorised to share. We may aggregate information about all of our other Users, groups, accounts, and personal data available to the User.

5- Collection of identity data

Free access.

Access to the Site does not require registration or prior identification. It can be accessed without providing any personal data about yourself (name, first name, address, etc.). We do not record any personal data simply for the purpose of accessing the Site.

6- Collection of identification data

Use of the user’s ID for the purpose of proposing contacts and commercial offers.

We use your electronic ID to search for existing relationships by login, email address or services. We may use your contact information to enable others to find your account, including through third party services and client applications. You can upload your address book so that we can help you find people in our network or to enable other Users in our network to find you. We may make suggestions to you and other network Users from contacts imported from your address book. We are likely to work in partnership with companies that offer incentives. To support this type of promotion and incentive, we may share your email ID.

7- Collection of terminal data

No collection of technical data.

We do not collect or store any technical data from your device (IP address, internet service provider, etc.).

8- Cookies​

Cookie retention period.

In accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL, the maximum retention period for cookies is 13 months as from their collection and storage in the User’s terminal, and user’s cookie consent may be considered valid for up to 13 months.

Visits to the website do not extend cookie lifetime. The User’s consent must therefore be renewed at the end of this period.

 

Purpose of a cookie.

Cookies may be used for statistical analyses, in particular to optimise the services provided to the User, based on the processing of information concerning the frequency of access, the personalisation of pages and the operations carried out and information consulted. You are informed that the Publisher may store cookies on your terminal.

The cookie records information relating to navigation on the service (the pages you consulted, the date and time of the consultation, etc.) which we can read during your subsequent visits.

 

User’s right to disable cookies, which will downgrade certain elements of the service functionality.

You agree that you have been informed that the Publisher may use cookies with your consent. If you do not want websites to install cookies on your terminal, most browsers allow you to disable cookies through the settings options. However, you are informed that you will not be able to use all the functionalities of our sites.

Cookies may be associated with personal data to enable us to provide the site functionalities.

The Publisher may collect navigation information via cookies.

9 - Retention of technical data

Retention period for technical data.

We retain technical data only for the time strictly necessary for the processing described hereabove.

10- Retention period for personal data and anonymisation

Data retention for the duration of the contractual relationship.

In accordance with Article 6-5° of Law No.78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and civil liberties, personal data subject to processing are not retained beyond the time necessary for the execution of the obligations defined at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the predefined duration of the contractual relationship.

 

Retention of anonymised data beyond the contractual relationship / after deletion of the account.

We retain personal data for the period strictly necessary for the processing described in this Privacy Policy. After this period, they will be anonymised and retained for statistical analyses only and will not be used in any way whatsoever.

 

Deletion of data of a deleted account.

Data purging processes are available for permanently removing data once the retention or storage period necessary for the processing determined or imposed is reached. In accordance with French law No.78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, data files and civil liberties, you have the right to delete your data at any time by contacting the Publisher.

Deletion of data after 3 years of inactivity.

For security reasons, if you have not logged in to the Site for a period of three years, you will receive an e-mail inviting you to log in as soon as possible, otherwise your data will be deleted from our databases.

11- Deleting the account

Deletion of the account on request.

The User may delete his or her Account at any time, by simple request to the Publisher OR through the Account deletion menu in the Account settings if applicable.

 

Account deletion in case of violation of the Privacy Policy.

In the event of a breach of any provision(s) of the Privacy Policy or any other document incorporated herein by reference, the Publisher reserves the right to terminate or restrict, without prior notice and in its sole discretion, your use of and access to the services, your account and all Sites.

12- Indications in the event of a security breach detected by the Publisher

Informing the User in case of a security breach.

We undertake to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risks of accidental, unauthorised or illegal access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction of your personal data. Should we become aware of unlawful access to your personal data stored on our servers or those of our service providers, or of unauthorised access resulting in the risks identified above, we undertake to:

  • Inform you of the incident as soon as possible;
  • Examine the causes of the incident and inform you;
  • Take reasonable steps to mitigate the negative effects and damage that may result from the incident.
  • Limitation of liability.

 

Under no circumstances shall the undertakings set out in the above point relating to notification in the event of a security breach be construed as an admission of fault or responsibility for the occurrence of the incident in question.

13- Transfer of personal data to other countries

No transfer outside the European Union.

The Publisher undertakes not to transfer the personal data of its Users outside of the European Union.

14- Modification of the privacy policy

In the event of a change to this Privacy Policy, we undertake not to lower the level of confidentiality substantially without prior information to the persons concerned.

We undertake to inform you in the event of a substantial change to this Privacy Policy, and not to lower the level of confidentiality of your data substantially without informing you and obtaining your consent.

15- Applicable law and remedies

Application of French law (CNIL legislation) and jurisdiction of courts

This Privacy Policy and your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, and in particular with Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to data processing, files and civil liberties. The choice of law does not affect your rights as a consumer under the applicable law of your place of residence.

If you are a consumer, we agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, which means that you may bring an action relating to this Privacy Policy in France or in the EU country in which you live. If you are a professional, all actions against us must be brought before a court in France.

In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action.

If these attempts fail, any disputes regarding the validity, interpretation and/or execution of the Privacy Policy shall be brought before the French courts, even in the event of multiple defendants or third party claims.

16- Data portability

The Publisher undertakes to offer you the possibility of having all your data returned to you on request.

The User is thus guaranteed better control of his/her data, and retains the possibility of reusing them. This data should be provided in an open and easily reusable format.
